Over the past few weeks, you may have read that I've been going to a local trampolining class with my sister in law. It is not getting any easier, but it's so much fun!
This past week or so I've also been trying out a new app, called My Virtual Mission. My Virtual Mission lets you track your progress as you exercise towards completing an outrageous virtual journey.
I love it! Every time you exercise, you can add it to a virtual journey. You mark your start and ending points on the map and then off you go!
I know I had the whole world to choose from, but I thought that I would start with something a little closer to home to begin with!
My current mission is from Land's End to John O'Groats.
Since I started on the 3rd February, I have only completed 33 miles and a have a long way to go, but it soon adds up. Every day I add the distance my Fitbit tells me I've completed from walking, playing with the kids, or my trampolining sessions!
According to the app, I am still in Cornwall!
What I also like is that you can also set up group missions, so you can plot a mission with friends or colleagues and keep on target with then in tow and give each other that boost you need to complete the mission.
You also have the option to raise money as you go. You can share your mission with family, friends and followers and raise money for a charity that's close to your heart.
This app is completely free, but for a small cost, there is a premium subscription available if you want to upgrade your account. The premium account will mean that there are no ads throughout the app, you can make your mission private, earn awards and more.
I just can't help but love this app! You don't have to find extra time in your day to work out for it. You just add up what you already do.
My Virtual Mission can be found at www.myvirtualmission.com or in the app store.
I'll be updating as I go along, so keep watching! If you added up the distances of all your exercise sessions, such as running or cycling or whatever you do, how far would that take you around the world?
Disclaimer: I was given a 6 months premium subscription in return for a review. All opinions are, as always, honest and my own.
