Trampolining- Not just for kids!

Trying to get fit can be hard and boring. Finding time to work out is hard enough, but finding the right workout for you is just as bad. They can get boring fast.

You might’ve seen a new trampoline exercise class advertised near you. There has been one  near us for about six months, and although I liked the idea of it, I was scared to go!
There are a few videos online of extreme trampoline workouts that make it very intimidating! If you haven’t seen any, then  take a look below!

I was talking about the classes and videos with some of my family, and  after much discussion, my Sister-in-Law and I finally plucked up the courage to go together. I booked  the class a couple of days later, so there was no going  back!
Finally, the day came. Still very nervous, we turned up to class. After signing in, the nerves and fear disappeared. In front of us were grown up trampolines!

After picking the trampolines at the back ( we weren’t that brave!), we were already to go!  Within the first bounce, I was hooked. It was so much fun!

Now don’t get me wrong. It was hard work. Really hard. Especially half way through when we stopped bouncing to do some crunches, but the hour did go fast. We had plenty of  breaks in between songs, but they didn’t last long!

We signed up for the following week straight away and we both can’t wait for next week. We also can’t stop talking about it, to anyone who wants to listen, or our husbands cases, who don’t!
For anyone who is thinking of taking it up,  I can’t recommend it enough. It is so much fun. If I was to describe it to anyone, I would say that it is a mixture of trampolining with the kids and a dance machine!
If you’re worried about aching afterwards, don’t be. My stomach  muscles ached two days later, but that was it. ( Which was a shock as I didn’t know I had any!)

Trampolining is definitely not just for kids anymore!

  4. They must have just started doing this in my area too as I saw a few girls had mentioned something about bouncing classes on their Facebook status. I have been doing the 30 day shred and the ouch to 5k but I mist admit this looks much more fun (if a little more scary lol).

  5. This looks much more fun than the treadmill although I am convinced that I would do myself an injury! Or end up bouncing off and landing on the roof! #bloggersclubuk
