Days Out with Aldi Mamia

Sunday, 9 October 2016

As a mum, it can be hard to make sure that our little ones are eating healthily, especially when we're on the go.

That's changed though. Dot has been luckily enough to try some of Aldi Mamia's award-winning 100% organic baby food range. Although Dot isn't a baby anymore, (in fact she turns two soon), the range is wide enough to have food suitable for toddlers too :)

Developed in response to the needs of real mums and dads, with the ongoing support of the Mamia Parent Panel, Aldi Mamia's baby food range is 100% organic and with prices from 59p it not only reinforces Aldi's commitment to brand-like quality at low prices, but is also perfect for mums on a budget!

Aldi Mamia was also recently awarded the Loved by Parents top Platinum award for the best organic baby food range!

As Dot is a but older, we didn't try the pouches, but we did try the Junior Mini Rice Cakes in two different flavours on a recent afternoon out to our local country park.

Dot's first conker!

After a busy time of collecting conkers, leaves and helicopters, we stopped for a rest and a snack :)

We let Dot try a couple of each rice cake to see what she thought. We were very surprised, but happily! Dot doesn't normally like rice cakes, but we had to almost tear the bags away from her. She loved them!

Although Dot didn't try the whole range, I'm really impressed with it. It's all organic and has no added sugars or preservatives. As a mum, I feel bad for giving Dot any pre packed snacks, but with Aldi Mamia's wide range of food, I don't have to!

I have to admit, we have never shopped at Aldi before as there isn't one in our town, but I can see myself driving a little further afield to check it out and maybe get Dot some more Junior mini rice cakes!

On a side note, we gifted the baby pouches and Purees to my baby neice and have it on good authority that she also loves Aldi Mamia's Organic Baby Food Range!

All opinions are honest and my own. We were sent some Aldi Mamia family essentials in return for our honest opinion.
