Plants....I will keep them alive!

I've always admired gardeners. They seem to make anything grow.

My mum and hubby are great gardeners. My mum especially. She'll spend hours in the garden. She says it's relaxing, but I've never seen it myself. It's always seemed like a lot of hard work!

Now don't get me wrong, I love gardens, and I love how pretty plants and flowers can look, but I'm not very good at keeping plants alive!

In the two years that I've been married, I've already killed of two bay trees, an olive tree and an orchid.

Not any more though. I've decided to give it one last go. What I've always dreamed of is to grow my own fruit and veg, either in my garden or in an allotment.

So with that in mind, I'm going to introduce you to the newest member of our family. Meet Charlie:
Charlie the Chilli Plant
Charlie is my new chilli plant. I've promised to look after him well, and in turn he is going to help me begin my dream. Together we will rule the world! (Or at least my kitchen window!)

  1. hahaha! Wishing you the best of luck! I planted strawberry seeds last week. I have never been able to grow

  2. Good luck! Hope it stays alive for you! I love gardening, can do lots with the outdoor stuff, it's the indoor plants that die for me! :) xx

    1. Thank you!
Ah, I've not tried outdoor things yet! I don't dare! Xx
