Weight Loss Update- March 2016

Wednesday, 30 March 2016

I'm so pleased with myself. I remembered to write my monthly update about weight loss!

This month has been a quiet one. Here's what I've been up to:

Unfortunately, I've not been doing much exercise lately. I hurt my back at my local trampolining class.  I was trying to keep up with a more experienced girl in front of me and injured my back. (lesson learned!)  It's on the mend and I will be returning in the next week or so.

I have started yoga as well. I don't go to a class though. I just use a DVD and a great app called Yogaia.
Since I had Dot, my back has a tendency to play up (a lot), so my husband suggested it as a way to strengthen my back and my core in general.
This past week, I've eased myself into it, doing a small session a day. I love it! It's really helping with my back and is so calming. I'm now hooked and cant get enough!

I might be able to hold the 'Y', but I can't do the others!

My diet is still the same. Gluten free! I'm trying to eat healthy with more protein and veg in my diet, but I'm still trying to avoid fruit. Yucky!

I'm also still eating little and often instead of larger meals and try not to eat past half past 7.

I still use my Fitbit alongside "My Diet Coach."  and My Virtual Mission, although there hasn't been much of anything this month!

So here are the numbers:

Weigh in:  168lb (12st)
BMI:   27.1
Waist: 35 in
Hips: 40 in
Tummy: 39 in
Bust: 40 in

Weigh in:  164lb (11st 10lb)
BMI:   26.4
Waist: 34 in
Hips: 40 in
Tummy: 38 in
Bust:40 in

Total loss target: 60 lb
Weight loss so far: 28lb

I still have a way to go, but I'm getting there!

  1. Wow 60lbs that's so fantastic! I think you are doing really well and is it wrong I had a little giggle at your trampolining (sorry) - it does sound like great fun though and a great way to keep fit. I must do more yoga as it really helps my back too. Thanks for linking up to #memyselfandI and I apologise for being late in commenting as I have been unwell x

  2. You're doing really well. I can relate to the back pain, mine's never been the same since I had Mini M & any little thing will set it off. Look forward to reading how you're getting on. Thanks for joining #memyselfandi
