Toddlebike2: A must for little ones!

Monday, 6 February 2017

We love to go out as a family for walks in our local park. Mikey usually takes his scooter while Dorothy is either chasing behind or being made to hold our hand, much to her annoyance!

All that's changed though, thanks to the Toddlebike2. The Toddlebike2, created by Jo Hockley, is a unique Pre-Balance bike suitable for toddlers as soon as they can walk confidently, usually from around 18 months old, but can be used up until 36 months old. Perfect for filling the gap between being too young for scooters and pedal bikes, but too old for ride on toys.

From the moment I opened the box, Dorothy was excited. She was riding up and down the living room within minutes!

Over the past three weeks, Dorothy has put the Toddlebike2 through vigorous testing! It's been on a trip to see Nana and Grandad, we've taken it for a ride to the park in all sorts of weather and much more, including having a sleepover in Dorothy's bedroom! (It even had to have a pillow!)

I love how lightweight the Toddlebike2 is. It weighs only 0.8kg! I remember vividly being hit in the leg when carrying Mikey's heavy scooter when he was younger, but carrying the Toddlebike2 was a dream!

But don't be put off by the weight. It is very sturdy, even under Dorothy's testing!

Dorothy loves her new bike and is so pleased that she can finally keep up with her brother on his scooter, rather than being made to hold our hands.

We love the Toddlebike2. It's definitely something that will be used for a very long time to come. It's also something that I can see myself buying as a gift for my nieces!

The Toddlebike2 is available to buy from their website for only £23.95.
They can also be found on Twitter and on Facebook.

We were given a Toddlebike2 in return for our honest opinion. All opinions are our own.

Keep Calm and Carry On Linking Sunday

  1. What a cute little bike! We could definitely do with one of these - my two year old sees her cousins on scooters and is desperate to have her own mode of transport! They're much less expensive than I thought they'd be too. Definitely one to consider. #kcacols

  2. I so want to buy this for Freddie when he's older! Looks great and a fab price too. #KCACOLS

  3. We received the Toddlebike to review too and Sienna loved it. She rides it all the time in the house and outside the house. I think it is a perfect bike for toddlers when they are too young for scooters and pedal bikes, but too old for ride on toys. It is a great option! Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. It is lovely to have you, :) x

  4. This looks fab! My sister has been thinking about getting one of these for my niece but she is 4 this year and has been using her trike without the handle instead #kcacols
